Note	Gladys and Frank both died as a result of a car accident on the Broken hill - Adelaide Road on 9.5.1963. They had their grandson Geoffrey with thern and he also died in this car accident. His brother Bruce had been going to go with his grandparents but changed his mind at the last minute so Geoffrey asked to go in his place. Margaret, Gladys' daughter can remember waiting for her parents to come to her home when she heard about a bad accident on this road. She inimediately assumed they were late because of this accident never realising till later that they were in the accident. A truck failed to see a tum in the road because of the dust of the unmade road and ploughed into their car. They never had a chance. Rosemary Penfold can rernember travelling along the saine road on that day and seeing the three bodies still on the road covered with blankets.
