Note	Notes for Melvin Ernest Glanville Hupfeld: Melvin had a fall when he was young and damaged bis elbow - as a result he didn't have much movement in his arm and so he couldn't work in the mine like all his mates. He did however join the St Johns Brigade and so was often down in the mines helping the injured. He ended up as a salesman selling insurance around the area and South Australia. He was a Tailor by trade when he was young. His son Peter still has his cutting table and his large scissors and other things.
